We recently covered Vada Corbus, a woman ballplayer who sought to play for the Joplin Miners. By the permission of John Kovach, college archivist at St. Mary’s College, we secured a much better photograph of the near trailblazer. The photograph comes from Mr. Kovach’s book, Women’s Baseball, (Images of Baseball).
